So apparently "Gulden Draak" means gold dragon in dutch. All I know is this beer is ridiculously good. It's very, very dark and has a supremely high alcohol percentage (weighing in at 10.5%). Surprisingly though this beer isn't overly bitter and doesn't taste like you're drinking gasoline as one might expect from something with such a high alcohol content. It does have a very bold flavor which I like in a beer, and I would recommend it as a sort of 'sipping' beer (aka, I wouldn't want to chug one of these). I think that this beer has a very good balance of flavors where it isn't too sweet and it isn't too bitter. Just great, punch-you-in-the-tongue flavor. Try this one for sure.
